Job Description

In Birmingham there is a supportive and leading Primary School who are on the hunt for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start.

You will be working across both KS1 & KS2 in the morning delivering Maths & English interventions with a focus on raising attainment. In the afternoon you will be working with two pupils who have been diagnosed with Autism - Both are very caring and no trouble at all.

The SENCO is keen to provide the appointed SEN Teaching Assistant with additional training on & off the job – Perfect for a hungry Teaching Assistant

·Must hold formal Teaching Assistant Qualification

·Child related experience is desirable, but not essential

·Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum

·Must be an engaging, ambitious and caring individual


·Graded ‘Good’ in latest Ofsted inspection

·Supportive and creative Primary School

·Internal & external training provided for all staff
