Reporting to Production Planner Team Leader your duties will include:
" Provide off-line programming for metal process machinery within the factory, using available software
" Ensure programs are produced in accordance with production requirements
" Calculate and maintain manufacturing times and costs for components and assemblies, ensuring data is entered onto the Glovia system to provide accurate route information
" Provide short term production planning in response to changes in production
" Provide advice and guidance for manufacturing techniques to assist the Design Department and Production.
" Perform any other duties as agreed to ensure the smooth running of the department at all times
The Production Planner - Programmer will build and maintain internal relationships with Production Control, Design, Purchasing and Manufacturing.
This is a permanent role, with a starting salary of £24,000 - £26,000.
