Location: North England & Scotland Remuneration: £50,000 + discretionary bonus
Benefits: Car allowance (£5,400), pension, private medical & 25 days annual leaveThe role of Quantity Surveyor - Partitioning Systems will involve:
- Quantity Surveyor position dealing with high quality interior fit-out of commercial office spaces primarily for blue chip contractors
- Reviewing and interpreting scope of works to gain a full understanding of projects
- Keeping track of monthly application figures and ensuring relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints
- Pricing variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters
- Keep good documentation of tenders and costings on internal database
- Dealing with projects ranging in value from £10k to circa £1m
- Visiting sites on a regular basis in coordination with the Project Manager
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Partitioning Systems with
- Must have quantity surveyor experience working for a sub-contractor
- Ideally will be from an interiors / fit-out / partitions market sector
- Ideally will have worked on projects £100k+
- Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Resilient individual who has strong leadership skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
