Job Description

Our client, a multi-national company offering supply chain solutions to the music industry, require an experienced Warehouse Administrator. You will be vital in providing administrative support to the warehouse operation and ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Working as part of an established friendly team on their Tilbrook site in Milton Keynes as the Warehouse Administrator, the opportunity is available immediately for a minimum of 3 months. The pay is £9.32 per hour and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (8 hours, plus an hour for lunch). The site benefits from on-site parking and 24 hour security.

Familiarity with computer packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is highly desirable, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The contract's administration office supports a busy warehouse operation so the successful candidate would need to be able to work under pressure, pay meticulous attention to detail and be happy to "muck in" with a variety of tasks, including operational - raising order paperwork, dealing with goods in/goods out, updating spreadsheets, liaising with the warehouse staff and handling telephone enquiries.

This position is ideally suited to a candidate with both warehouse and administration experience as an understanding of the operation is essential when forging relationships and managing every day challenges.

You will have responsibility for:
" Completing contract administration tasks in a timely and accurate manner whilst complying with both local and central company procedures
" Dealing with customer queries in an efficient, accurate, professional and timely manner
" Maintaining effective communication between management, peers, warehouse staff and customers
" Processing orders and receipts
" Providing the operational information required to fulfill the internal and external reporting requirements
" Reporting of customer returns and damages, both internally and externally
" Assisting in the production of NCR's (Non Conformance Reports) for management
" Assisting in the control and monitoring of packaging materials
" Compiling and completing specific customer reports
" Assisting with project work and new process implementation
" Willingness to cover the duties of other staff members in cases of absence
You will require:
" Administrative experience in a warehouse setting
" A high level of organisation and accuracy
" Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
" The ability to prioritise your workload
" Competent level of knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
" Excellent communications skills
