An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest, national Recruitment Agencies for a 4-month peak project recruiting LGV Drivers for a number of hubs across the UK. The client is a household name and flagship account for Pertemps, with numerous transport operations. We are looking for 5 Project Coordinators (x1 North West, x1 Bristol and x3 Midlands) to recruit and manage Drivers for the busiest 7-week period of their calendar.

As a Project Coordinator you will be required to:
Recruit Drivers from all over the UK to relocate to bases that are strategically located within a fixed radius of the client's busiest Transport operations
The recruitment process will mean travelling to various locations across the given region to interview, assess, vet and induct Drivers against stringent standards, liaising with central teams in order to process applications - this may require overnight stays
Once all Drivers are recruited and on-board, the role will include the coordination of hotel accommodation and will develop to management of the Driver teams and pastoral care
Shifts will be allocated across multiple sites according to the client's needs
Day to day duties will include
Checking Drivers in at shift start times and monitoring compliance and satisfaction
Resolving any day to day queries / issues from the client or Drivers

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong written and verbal command of English
GCSE or equivalent - English, Maths (C) + (Desirable)
Recruitment experience, preferably within a contract (Desirable)
Background in transport / logistics planning (Desirable)
Experience of transport / logistics planning (Desirable)
B+E Licence (Essential)
Knowledge of Road Transport Regulations (Desirable)

Highly desirable skills and attributes:
Understanding of recruitment and the candidate attraction and selection processes
Understanding of the legal, regulatory and ethical requirements including equality, diversity and inclusion
Experience of infringement management and compliance
Influential, assertive and persuasive communicator at all levels
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively
Effective use of reports as communication tools
