You will be directly responsible for all areas within the warehouse and will be supported by senior management to ensure production levels and targets are achieved. You will be involved in all aspects of staff development within the warehouse, including training and supervising and must be a strong leader, motivator and wanting to achieve for you and your team.
Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager your duties will include but are not limited to -
" Planning, coordinating, order picking and dispatching of goods
" Ordering adequate materials and supplies to ensure continuous production
" Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
" Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
" Planning future capacity requirements
" Supervising, motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
" Producing regular reports and statistics on a weekly/monthly basis
" Providing regular reports and briefings to senior management
" Maintaining and ensuring Health & Safety standards are met
" Overseeing the order fulfilment process ensuring all special customer requirements are met
" Overseeing all deliveries ensuring all processes are kept
" Day to day maintenance and security of the warehouse
Strong inventory control, stock management and implementation experience is paramount to this role.
