Are you a Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping children to overcome barriers to education? Do you have experience working with SEND and behaviour disorders? If you enjoy making a difference and working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, this role might be for you! This school provides an education to children with Special Educational Needs, and does a fantastic job.
Teachers are fantastic and give 100% effort into delivering fantastic, engaging lessons. As a Teaching Assistant you will be joining a dedicated team and enjoy working with small groups of children who require additional support. The school focus on educating children both in the classroom and outside of the school walls, giving the children an opportunity to learn in a variety of ways.
- Providing 1-2-1 classroom based support
- Working alongside the class teacher to enable learning
- Managing classroom behaviour
- Ensuring that each child is given the support that they deserve
- Have experience working with Special Educational Needs
- Enjoy making a difference everyday
- Have experience breaking down barriers to education
- Be proactive and dedicated
