Salary £8.50 per hour Sector Miscellaneous
Day to day Supervision of domestic staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and behaviour whilst on duty, ensuring compliance with Trust and Sodexo policies and procedures.

To communicate with their staff, colleagues and service users taking corrective action where appropriate.           

Various shift times from 07.00-22.00 will include weekend work


 Conform with any relevant legislative and codes of practice appertaining to Health & Safety legislation.
 Be responsible for your own Health & Safety and that of any other person working with you. Take care to  ensure that your activities do not put others at risk.
 To ensure that a clean and hygienic environment is maintained at all times for patients, staff and  members of the public in line with National Standards of Cleanliness
 To regularly review work schedules and monitor all cleaning activities.
 To carry out cleaning duties in designated area of responsibility as agreed and assist when necessary with  daily cleaning duties in times of staff shortages.
 To ensure standards of cleaning remain consistently high   
Communication & Relationship skills
To give advice and full co-operation to colleagues, Trust staff and patients in a prompt manner.
To deal with customer complaints, refer to managerial staff where necessary and completion of the necessary documentation.Demonstrate commitment to the department and the Trust.
To encourage and maintain good working relationships with all users of Domestic Services.Maintain a professional attitude at all times.Explaining technical issues to staff.
Provide training to staff.
Planning & Organisational Skills
To complete weekly staff rotas for areas of responsibility, covering sickness and annual leave to ensure that there are adequately trained staff to maintain the level of service.
Complete weekly staff attendance records and provide payroll information
Allocate and monitor staff annual leave.
