Job Title: Stores Assistant
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000
My client, a manufacturing firm based in Malmesbury are looking for a stores administrative assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
*Good interpersonal skills.
*Sage 200 or another ERP System, Microsoft Office
*Thorough, meticulous and organised
*Experience in Stores or Despatch environment an advantage
*Good Team Player
*Good at time management/prioritisation
*Able to work to deadlines in a pressurised environment
*Able to develop good working relationships within the team and other departments
*Answering the phone and taking down details of spare parts order for customers
*Enter details of the order onto Sage 200 Accounting System and notify the rest of the Team by email
*Assist with the booking in of deliveries from Suppliers and make sure we are expecting the delivery and sign off paperwork
*Ensure the goods received are placed in the correct location in the Stores Department and are properly labelled/identified
*Serve factory members with parts requests, ensuring they complete the correct paperwork
*Support colleagues in Sales Department who need assistance with dispatching larger items that need to go via DHL or Pallet-ways
*Print packing lists that are produced by Sales department and give to the relevant Store person. Once the store person has finished with the packing list, update his/her notes onto the electronic version and save on the system.
