Job Description

Position: Sous Chef

Location: Newbury, RG28 7RB

Salary: Up to £27,000

Type: Permanent 45 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days' shifts.

Are you an experienced Sous Chef looking for a new challenge? You will be working in a beautiful wedding/function location based in the heart of rural Hampshire. This role requires a passionate person who wants to go over and beyond to make sure every detail is met. You will be working with the Head Chef and their existing team. Most of the weekdays are spent preparing for weekend functions. This role is best suited to a driver as the location is remote and has a lack of public transport links available.

Must have:

  • Applicants must be currently at Sous Chef level
  • Passion for delivering top quality food
  • Strong background in functions or wedding venues.
  • A thorough understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene practices
  • Experience in a fast paced environment and volume
  • Hard working, reliable, team player, flexible
