Rosette Experienced Sous Chef in a  beautiful coastal Restaurant with 5*Accommodation located in Barton on Sea

Full Time Permanent  

Hourly rate/Salary: Annual Salary of up to £27,000 + Tips


The role:

We are recruiting for a fantastic Sous Chef with Rosette experience for our hugely popular restaurant in Barton on Sea, New Milton.

The Kitchen produces a fantastic seasonally changing menu offering a range of dishes that caters for all tastes -from light lunches to formal dinners.

This is a great opportunity for the right Sous Chef to showcase some of his or her own ideas in our stunning award winning restaurant.

Key information:

  • Full Time, Permanent Contract.

  • You will be required to work around 50 hours per week – depending on business needs.

  • Working a mixture of straight shifts and split shifts allowing you to have a balance in your work pattern

  • Live in Accommodation is available on site, this is charged at £100 per week & includes all bills.


Key responsibilities include:

As a Sous chef you will assist with the full running of the kitchen on a daily basis and in the absence Of the Head Chef. You will be mentor, train and assist with the developing of skillsets to the Junior Team. The Kitchen allows you to be creative and take part in producing new dishes and menu writing. Standards are held very highly so compliance with all health & hygiene in the kitchen is ESSENTIAL.


Skills required:

You are required to have previous experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food kitchen at Rosette level. Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 or Equivalent but not essential. We are all about the food and maintaining our high end dining reputation so Passionate and an Enthusiastic attitude is what we are looking for to add to our already AMAZING team.



We offer a Competitive Salary of £27,000 per annum + a share of Tips. Onsite accommodation is also available if required and is charged at only £100 per week to include ALL BILLS. We have a full team of 7 in the Kitchen and are keen for another amazing Chef to join us.
