Are you a tactical in-direct Procurement Manager with outstanding managerial skills? Are you able to develop processes and then train, mentor and motivate teams within procurement, stakeholder management, category management and strategic purchasing to develop a world class team?
My client is a leading Procurement Management Consultancy that requires a strong manager to work on site with a healthcare client to upskill the existing procurement team across all purchasing elements.
While you will be onsite in the North West for most of the week, there is an expectation to be in the London office once a week. There you will receive extensive support from the very experienced consultancy team, as well as the Associate Director responsible for the account.
As a Senior Manager, you will be developing and implementing a procurement structure and associated processes while managing a team of three or four people to deliver real sustainable change.
This role would suit someone who enjoys procurement, has extensive in-direct experience and knowlede, but also thrives on building processes, developing teams, passing on knowledge and seeing others grow and succeed.
Experience in the healthcare sector is not as important as general in-direct category experience and being an excellent manager.
