An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Operations Analyst, based in Newport, South Wales.

Company Summary:

The company is family owned, with a UK sales & production facility, responsible for a large percentage of the group revenue. You would be joining a friendly team with the potential for future progression. There is a small element of travel to HO in Europe involved.

Summary Description of Position:

The primary responsibility of the Sales Operations Analyst is to oversee the sales order entry and logistics in the UK & Ireland. This includes liaising with UK based key customers and transport partners. You would also assist with the development of a new niche market in a related industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*As the Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for dealing with UK customers
*You will act as shared point of contact for clients' logistics requirements once sales have been finalised
*You will be responsible for operations including: the planning of high value, time sensitive customer deliveries
*You will assist the Sales Manager & Managing Director in implementing sales processes and reporting
*Assist in analysing, designing, documenting, and implementing internal sales reporting systems for the sales team and management team, using ERP system
*Research new customer contacts via web and limited follow up calls, with sales managers
*Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by senior mangers
*Take ownership of group internal shared Information management system.
*Take ownership of customer data base management including price maintenance with finance team.
*Responsible for goods inward management for high value imported cargos.
*Manage daily production works orders through manufacturing process.

Experience Required:

You will ideally be degree qualified, although very relevant experience would be considered. It is essential that you can demonstrate either a minimum 2 years of sales operations experience, or working in administration within a sales environment
Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office, in particular Excel is essential.
A background in a production or manufacturing company is preferable
