My client is a well know and highly established company who is looking for someone to join their recruitment team. The purpose of the role will be to support the delivery of hires through facilitation of effective recruitment and selection processes for key Areas / Regions across the UK and ROI to support retail stores / garages in delivering against their goals. This role supports the Resourcing Team Leader and Group Resourcing Manager and partners with Areas / Regions to ensure that hires are made in a timely manner and to the highest quality available in the candidate market place.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Store / Centre Managers to ensure a clear understanding of recruitment needs and deliver effective and timely activity to meet these needs
• Act as a key point of contact for recruitment queries, providing a first-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Liaison with third party providers where appropriate
• Support other team members as needed, offering support with holiday and sickness cover where required
• Effectively administer the recruitment process, providing timely updates to stakeholders on interviews as well as on-demand updates on candidate status for vacant roles
• Conduct effective and timely screening of applications against relevant criteria
• Ensure effective management and farming of Talent Pools
• Carry out effective candidate sourcing using all available channels
• Provide first line advice to Hiring Managers on selection, seeking support from Resourcing Team Leader as needed to ensure legal compliance and a consistently great candidate experience
• Ensure that all applications are managed effectively, with every candidate receiving timely updates on their status in the selection process
• Attend team meetings as required, offering effective contribution and contributing to a positive and supportive team atmosphere
• Check all relevant MI related to recruitment activity, updating as necessary to ensure all business updates are accurate, as required by Resourcing Team Leader
• Prioritise stakeholders based on age of vacancy, numbers vacant at a given location and business priorities as communicated by operational management and / or People BPs
• Share best practice across the team
