Job Description

Due to the continued growth, a well-established company based in Ashby are looking to recruit an Quality Engineer to join their business on a permanent contract. The role will be working full time hours within their office in Ashby.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Continued development of the HSEQ ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO18001 certified HSEQ system.
• Continued development of the Quality notification module within SAP including non-conformance / customer warranty.
• Control of Warranty management system and customer warranty interface.
• HSEQ certified system controls functional support (Safety systems, calibration, audits, QIP).
• Control of Material certificates and material traceability control.
• Production of and review of legislative customer HSE test certificates.
• Co-ordination of Customer FAT inspection visits.
• Collation of unit HSEQ monthly reporting information.
General Responsibilities:
• Implement good management practices such as planning and control.
• Identify any specific problem areas within your field of responsibility and implement prevention actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Ensure that business is conducted within the guidance of the KYC, 1KC and supporting business policies.
• Assist other colleague and customers with HSEQ advice and information where appropriate.
Education/Experience
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Computer literate with strong IT skills.
• Preferably technical background (e.g. BSc in mechanical or electrical engineering).
• Understanding of Quality Systems (ISO) and processes.
• SAP ERP experience, especially knowledge of SAP QM module is seen as an asset.

• MS Office, SAP experience
In return my client is offering a salary of £28,000 - £31,000. 25 days holidays plus bank holidays and excellent career progression.
