Job Description

I have an exciting opportunity for a Part time Purchasing Coordinator to join a successful business based in Redditch on a 6 month temporary contract. This role will be supporting the Business Services Coordinator including managing purchases from several of the company's main suppliers.

This role is to cover until a member of staff returns from Maternity leave so is for approximately 6 months. The salary is £20,000 - £25,000 pro rata as its part time hours. This position will be working 3 days per week working 9am – 5pm and is an immediate start.

It is very important that the candidate has experience in Purchasing and has come from this background as you will be dealing with the company's main suppliers. Any experience with forecasting and costing would be an advantage and if you have knowledge of pallets and containers or logistics that would also be an advantage.

Duties will include:
*Managing the purchasing process for main suppliers
*Holding regular internal stock meetings with the Business Services Coordinator
*Liaising the with the sales team and suppliers
*Purchase order processing
*Liaising with freight forwarders
