A £40m turnover business is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team in Southampton. This role reports to the Management Accountant, within a team of 4.

This business prides itself on their service, they are looking for somebody to demonstrate a customer focused approach daily. In return, you will receive free parking and will be empowered to manage the function.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report into the Management Accountant, duties include:-

• Processing purchase invoices
• Match, batch and code invoices on Sage 500
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Assist with queries through to resolution
• Prepare and process payment runs
• Produce monthly reports
• Ad hoc duties when required

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:-

• Experience in one of the following roles; Accounts Payable Clerk, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator
• Experience working in a customer focused environment
• Proven experience on Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Navision, Oracle or SAP advantageous

You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
