Post Room / Reprographics / Print Deputy Team Leader
Location: York
Salary £20,000 + Bonus and benefits


The Deputy Team Leader role will support the Team Leader/Senior Team Leader to:
• Deliver services to the required Service Levels (SLAs) and high quality standards
• Support the Team Leader to manage the team and ensure all team members are adequately trained
• Ensure all processes are followed accurately and to flag any process or service failures to line manager
• Maintain professionalism and pride in the service
• Provide technical and process support to the team, and flexible and responsive assistance to colleagues
• Lead the team in the absence of the Team Leader/Senior Team Leader

Account abilities will include:
• Report and resolve minor technical queries and refer more complex failures to Team Leader / Manager
• Deal with client issues escalated from the team promptly, keeping the Team Leader informed and escalating when necessary
• Support the team leader with 1:1s back to work interviews and other team management activity as requested
• Provide constructive feedback on team members to support the Team Leader in 1:1 and performance reviews
• Ensure the most cost effective, ergonomic equipment and process is utilised to maximise efficiency and minimise cost of delivery
• Maintain good working relationships with clients and liaise with them in a professional and helpful manner at all times to resolve enquiries escalated by the team while keeping the Team Leader informed
• Support the review and development and implementation of processes to improve performance and reduce risk
• Produce timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MI, and submit as required
• Complete all training within required timescales, ensuring compliance with compulsory courses, and enabling flexibility of duties to support the service
• Support the training and development of other team members as required by Team Leader
• Be aware of safe working practices, maintain a tidy and safe work area and ensure servicing of all equipment is carried out safely and on time (including Vehicles)
• Ensure all required stock levels/consumables are maintained and any damaged or faulty equipment is reported to your line manager promptly
• To support the team by performing the duty of Fire Marshall if requested to do so by line manager

Essential that you are;
• IT Literate
• Have Post Room and/or Reprographics experience and have a Driving License
