Pertemps Ltd are recruiting for an On-Site Coordinator to assist them during the busy peak period with the potential for permanent employment. The successful candidate must have flexibility in the hours they can work and be on-call.

The On-Site Coordinator will work as part of a team and is responsible for the recruitment, management and retention of a base of temporary staff on assignment within that contract. The Coordinator must build and maintain relationships through providing support and advice to clients and employees and thereby providing an effective and professional service to all parties.

It is the responsibility of the Coordinator to ensure the provision of staff to the client ensuring total compliance to a strict Service Level Agreement between the agency and the contract. This is all encompassing of legal requirements and responsibilities to both the client and employees for the contract.

Key Accountabilities:
Proactively dealing with and anticipating problems that may arise, using effective communication and diplomacy to provide a professional service for clients and employees
Representing Pertemps in the recruitment and induction of employees
Representing Pertemps in communicating with the client in a professional and courteous manner

Responsibilities:
Ensuring the site's requirement for temporary labour is met / delivered to agreed service levels
Ensuring legal and contract compliance of procedures throughout the recruitment process
Preparation of Management Information reports
Weekly / monthly local review meetings
Monitoring turnover of agency staff
Works to meet and exceed the customer's needs and strives to strengthen the relationship
Take responsibility for resolving issues
Attracting and recruiting employees to the contract
Compiling recruitment plans for forecasted figures
Maintaining an out of hours service for the contract
Maintaining a supportive working environment
Pre-employment and compliance checks, in line with: company policy, relevant legislation and client specific on-boarding processes.
Delivery of site orientation / inductions to agreed standards
Management of labour pool
Ensuring that hours are authorised by the client with sufficient time to allow the payroll process to be completed within normal deadlines

Understand employee rights and responsibilities including equality, diversity and inclusion

Qualifications and Requirements:
GCSE or equivalent - English and Maths (Essential)
Membership of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) (Desirable)
Previous recruitment experience, preferably within a contract (Desirable)
Driving licence (Desirable)

Can demonstrate the following:
Good written and verbal command of English
Microsoft Word and Excel competency

The ability to operate flexible working hours is essential. The contract will require some cover at weekends, evenings, Bank Holidays and additional hours during peak periods.
