Job Description

A fantastic opportunity is available for an Office Team Leader to join a professional services company in Birmingham city centre

Role and Responsibilities
-The team leader is responsible for assisting the Business Support Services Manager to maintain the highest level of customer service.
-This is a management role which involves ensuring a productive workflow, within an environment that encourages personal and professional growth
-This is a hands-on role and involves working alongside the team to deliver the overall service.
Key responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to -
• Assist the Business Support Services Manager with the compilation of monthly reporting, and actively participate in the account management programme
• Oversee the day to day running of the Business Support Services PAs, Admin, Hub and Reception in line with the agreed service levels
• Encourage a customer service environment and ensure that all processes reflect this and all staff are appropriately trained
• Assist the manager in the performance review process
• Assist the manager in the recruitment and induction of team members
• Participate in training new staff and with the continued development of existing staff
• Monitor and ensure staff compliance with established procedures i.e. operational processes, quality control procedures, conduct, attire, performance and attendance
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and utilised
• Be aware of and responsible for the day to day health and safety requirements for your team and working area and immediately raise any health and safety concerns to your manager
• Actively participate in all on site health and safety audits and assessments
• Any other reasonable request made by your line manager

To be considered for the role you must have management experience
• Must have people management / team leader experience
• Demonstrable ability to manage performance issues / personality clashes.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships
• Proactive, flexible and willing to learn – need to roll up their sleeves and get involved in operational duties as business needs
• Help drive through change and continuous improvement

The company are offering a salary of £22,000-£26,000 depending on experience with a fantastic benefit scheme
