As a National Contracts Manager you can expect to receive a basic salary between £35000-£42000 with on target earnings of up to £70000. In addition you will also receive competitive holidays, pension, laptop and mobile.

Role Summary- National Contract Manager- ESF Programmes.
The appointed person will be responsible for managing relationships with prime funding partners that work on subcontracted ESF programmes. The appointed person will be responsible for driving performance on ESF contracts and ensuring that strategic objectives around long term growth are met.
Typical duties and responsibilities of the National Contracts Manager
" Build, manage and develop relationships with Prime funding partners and directly with the relevant commissioning bodies.
" Ensure business growth through working with Senior Teams to ensure both performance and delivery on ESF contracts are aligned to the needs of our commissioners.
" Production of reports to commissioning bodies
" Manage data reporting to ensure all parties are involved of performance and progress on contracts.
" Attend and lead meetings to provide updates on contract performance.
" Attend networking events and other meetings organised within our delivery regions to gain a better understanding of needs in a local area.
" Keeping up to date and taking required action from reports produced by LEP's and Local Authorities on Labour Market priorities.
" Attending meetings with commission bodies on a regular basis.
" Working with our internal Business Development teams to ensure sufficient activity within contract regions to drive outcomes.
" Working with other key functions to ensure all service deliverables are exceeded.
" Reporting performance to the Board on a regular basis.
" Working with the Managing Director to shape ESF strategy across our delivery regions.
" Leading on implementation of all new contracts.
" Supporting the bid team with tendering for new contracts and providing credible evidence based tender submissions.
Skills and Experience required for the National Contracts Manager
" Previous experience working in a Contract Manager role within Work Based Learning
" Extensive knowledge ESFA/ESF funding streams and funding methodology.
" Experience gained within the AEB, ESF or Apprenticeships sectors.
" Strong track record in building relationships and managing stakeholders
" Experience of managing the performance of Sub-contractors
" Experience of managing performance through people
" Experience of budget management
" Ideally be educated to degree standard. It would be highly desirable of if the successful candidate is Assessor or IQA Qualified.
