My client just outside Liverpool city centre are actively seeking a Mandarin Speaking Customer Service Advisor to join their team. The purpose of the role will be to handle correspondence relating to student exchange programmes between the UK and China. On offer is a basic salary of £17,000 to £22,000 and hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The main duties of a Mandarin Speaking Customer Service Advisor are;
  • Handle and book reservations
  •  Find and set up tour guides
  • Communicate between travel agents and stakeholders
  • Secure deposits
  • Help create itineraries
  • Provide support for visa applications
  • Accurately record data
The role also entails some travel around the UK to oversee trips and accompany student groups as required.

To apply for the position of Mandarin Speaking Customer Service Advisor you must;
  • Be fluent in Mandarin and be able to read and write in Chinese
  • Have experience within the travel & tourism sector
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Travel industry experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given
