Location: Warrington (WA4 6PS)
Salary: £30,275.31 + shift Allowance
Shifts : 3 Rotating pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm- 10pm and 10pm- 6am)
Contract Type: Permanent

Job Purpose
The successful Maintenance Electrician working on a rotating shift basis will mainly provide an electrical maintenance service for all plant equipment, and services within the plant premises.

As a Maintenance Electrician, your duties will be:

" To diagnose and rectify all faults of an electrical/ electronic nature, using wiring diagrams, manuals, drawings and sketches, for all plant, equipment and services.
" To follow electrical/ electronic planned maintenance programs.
" Able to recondition and rebuild electrical and electronic components , controls and equipment.
" Utilise and follow administration control systems of the maintenance and associated departments in the normal course of employment as an electrician.
" To initiate and carry out electrical/ electronic modifications to new and existing plant equipment and services.

An ideal Maintenance Electrician will hold the following skills and experiences:

" Must have received a formal recognised course of training in electrical/ electronics.
" Able to read complex electrical/ electronic wiring diagrams, able to make working sketches, and to work with verbal instructions.
" Must be able to use all electrical/ electronic measuring, testing and calibration equipment provided.
" Competent with PLC control systems.
" Able to work for long periods of time, using own initiative, and without direct supervision.
" Be conversant with IEE Wiring Regulations.
