Job Title: Logistics Operations Clerk
Location: Bedford
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week - alternating shift pattern of 5:30-13:30 and 12:00-20:00
Salary: £18,200

Summary
Our client, a UK wide fleet solutions company with over 25 years' experience are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operations Clerk. The main purpose of this role is to organising the delivery and collection of vehicles for clients.

Key duties within this position include:
*Act as a point of contact for the client, customers and drivers ensuring all information is all accurately passed across
*Manage Petty Cash requirements and cash flouts for all other depots
*Ensure all records are up to date
*Communicate with drivers leaving and returning the depot as well as providing them with outgoing expenses and dealing with unused monies
*Create and issue job cards to workshops using the computer system
*Administer the issue and receipt of sundry items
*Any other duties as and when required by the relevant Manager/Director

Skills/Experience Required
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Experience working within a logistics or similar department
*Good general IT skills
*Good time management skills with the ability to work within a busy, fast paced environment
*Experience working within an administrative or office based role
