We are currently looking for an experienced SEND Learning Support Assistant to work in a mainstream secondary school in Bishop Auckland. The role involves offering support students who have moderate to severe learning and/or behavioural difficulties mainly on a 1:1 basis. This requirement is on a full time basis and will extend to summer 2019.

For the roles you should have NVQ 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or have a minimum 6 month proven track record working in a SEN setting. Other qualifications that would be useful are Team Teach or CALM certificates.
