Learning and Development Trainer
Job Title: Learning and Development Trainer
Salary: Up to £23,000
Hours: Monday to Friday / Full Time
Location: Exeter, Devon
We are looking for a Learning and Development Trainer who is a strong communicator with excellent public speaking and presentation skills. As Learning and Development Trainer you will motivate staff and deliver a variety of training to support the wider staff development.
As part of the role you will be updating and designing new and ongoing training and delivering the induction programme.
*To update current training materials and design and deliver new training materials (including eLearning, participant guides, worksheets, job aids, and facilitator manuals) to cover statutory, mandatory, developmental and organisational change training requirements for new and existing staff across all areas of the organisation
*Ensure all training materials are reviewed appropriately and endorsed by compliance
*Assist with the monitoring and review of the progress of trainees through post training testing and suitability questionnaires
*Provide support in solving specific training problems raised by line managers
*Deliver one-to-one coaching sessions for staff and provide constructive and motivational feedback
*Carry out the administration and co-ordination of training activities
*Ensure all training is correctly recorded and feedback gained from participants
*Assist the Learning & Development Manager with projects and reporting as required
*You would also be expected to keep up to date with developments in the industry throughout your career and to network with fellow professionals.
Experience and Qualifications:
*Minimum of 2 years Learning & Development training experience
*Either have CIPD Level 3 or be willing to work towards this qualification
*Good command of the English language and ability to utilise this across all mediums
*Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills to meet deadlines and objectives
*Technically able: can use technology to support and deliver
*Problem solving and negotiation skills
*Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills
*Sound persuading and influencing skills
