Our client is a nationwide leisure Club that is looking for a Lead Chef to enhance their catering operation. The café/bar style is very fast paced and we are looking for a Chef that wants an exciting challenge to drive the business forward. The menus are branded and to specification so we are looking for a chef that wants good hours and a chance to make a name for themselves in this popular members club.
The Lead Chef you will work 5 days a week and do 8 hour shifts, on a 40 hour contract.
You will manage a brigade of chefs and your key responsibility will be to drive food revenue and margins by delivering consistency, quality and member experience.
A Lead Chef with experience in a leisure/retail industry will be a great advantage but not essential. The work environment is relaxed, friendly but focused on customer service and requirements.
You will report in to an established F&B Manager and you will also be responsible for making sure the team complies with Health and Safety and Food Hygiene guidelines
NVQ or City & Guilds Chef Qualifications are desirable but candidates with the right experience will also be considered. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is also an advantage.
Salary of £22,000
40 hours a week contract, 8hrs a day in a nice, friendly environment
