Key areas of experience required:
-Drafting of the strategic section and corporate governance section of the Annual Report
-Project managing the progression of various parts of the Annual Report, closely collaborating with internal and external parties (auditors and printers)
-Ensuring all facts and figures are verifiable and supportable with evidence
What we need from you:
-PLC external reporting experience
-A flexible approach with the needs of multiple stakeholders at short notice (Board, auditors) and being confident at dealing with CEO, CFO, COO comments
-Possess a sound understanding of how the various parts of the PLC Annual Report fit together, as well as how this will need to read across the various public announcements, investor presentations and IR work
-A self –starter who can quickly build up a sound understanding of the strategy, business model, products and markets
-Ability to quickly build relationships with the various business functions
-Capable of producing a high-quality professional document
We are looking for a fully qualified ACA or ACCA finance professional with excellent technical, financial reporting skills, you must be experienced in pulling together a PLC "glossy" Annual report. And as this is a senior position within the business it is imperative to have strong interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external parties.
