Salary £45000 per annum Sector HSE
Role :- HSE Manager
Based :- Garston, Liverpool

• £42,000-45,000 on base salary+ attractive benefits
• Single Site
• Reporting to the Site Lead
• No direct reports

Main responsibilities of the role :-

• Balance both the HSE strategic and operational needs of the site
• Assess the sites current Environmental, Health and Safety exposure and issues (including regulatory requirements) and the impacts to different stakeholders including; employees, customers and community
• Lead the sites HSE safety plan and employ strategy to manage HSE risk
• Externally lead efforts to negotiate key approvals and permits
• Have a collaborative approach when executing HSE plans, working cross functionally with different stakeholders and functions
• Provide leadership around HSE audits, inspections and risk assessment processes, ensuring the results are analysed and any corrective actions to non-conformances are implemented in a timely manner
• Identify root causes and trends
• Provide in depth technical, regulatory, behavioural and strategic understanding and consultation to build a strong HSE culture
• Lead the engagement of HSE topics with colleagues
• Manages the site HSE budget

Qualifications and required experience :-

• NEBOSH Certificate (as a minimum) or equivalent
• General manufacturing experience ideally within food, beverages, dairy, paper, print or packaging.
