Working as a Technical helpdesk agent will involve:
Establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships by delivering reliable and concise customer service for Developer Services clean water and waste water customers.
Identifying issues for escalations to line management or specialist technical teams, having followed appropriate approaches to resolve the issue first hand.
Developing and maintaining accurate knowledge of Developer Service technical specifications, systems and procedures.
Adhering to inbound and outbound customer policy and processes.
Providing support to colleagues and encourage other team members to achieve both individual and team targets.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in customer service
Experience in a high pressure environment / work load
IT competency (Microsoft office, SAP, CRM)
Understanding of the importance of team work
Ability to learn a vast amount of technical information in a short time
Stability. (6 months ideally)
This role is based in Green Park, Reading. The hours for the role are 08:00 -16:00/09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday and the rate of pay is £9.35 per hour. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with a great chance of becoming permanent member of staff.
