Key areas of responsibility:
Carry out training courses effectively on subject/topics which have mutually been agreed as within trainer's capability.
Ensure delegates are made welcome upon arrival and registration on the course takes place efficiently and smoothly.
Ensure facilities such as, welfare, food and drink are available during the course
Assist with identification and development of new courses.
Assist with organisation and implementation of training of in-house staff and in house seminars.
Assist with communication of new HSE initiative and legislation to customers and in-house staff.
Advise member companies on training requirements for new and existing employees
Monitor feedback on courses.
Assist the Training Manager generally with development, communication and the running of the Training Division as requested.
Key tasks and functions:
1. General responsibilities:
a) Consult with:
CITB staff as appropriate.
Various other training advisers.
Senior Management of member firms and Safety Consultants / Groups.
Suppliers of training material
b) Assist with marketing and promotion of services of company Training Services.
c) Assist with technical queries including the company "Helpline" and preparation of articles for publication in the monthly Newsletter.
2. Technical qualifications and competences:
PTTLS Level 3 (or equivalent).
NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
Grad IOSH Membership.
HNC/HND Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
