Head Chef - High Wycombe

Conference Centre

Straight Shifts

40 HOURS A WEEK

Job title: Head Chef
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £38,000

Shifts: 40 HOURS A WEEK, 1/3 weekends (predominantly Monday to Friday), evenings are included

Key information on the Head Chef Job:

  • 00am - 3.30pm/11am - 7.30pm shifts
  • Permanent contract
  • Must have experience in catering for multiple outlets
  • Must drive or live close by

Main duties and responsibilities Head Chef in High Wycombe:

  • Implement Health & Safety legislation and COSHH at all times
  • Lead a large function based unit with multiple outlets - organisation and coordination is key
  • Preparation of food for large volumes of customers - all cooked from scratch
  • Menu creation


What you need to be successful in the Chef in High Wycombe:

  • Would suit someone from a large hotel that offers banqueting or form contract catering within a multi outlet unit such as a university
  • Ability to keep standards high in this prestigious unit
  • Good communication
  • Works well under pressure
  • Previous experience in contract catering and/or banqueting
