Job Description

New and exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager in Crawley.

Managing soft and hard services, you will be working in collaboration with a client.

Duties will include:

- managing and developing facilities team
- managing sub- contractors
- managing PPM's and reactive maintenance works
- being involved in the recruitment process
- developing business plans
- working closely with the client to ensure smooth process
- working in partnership with HR and finance team
- ensuring financial targets are met
- managing facilities' budget
- complete performance surveys of plant and equipment
- ensuring all records are up to date
- identifying training needs

The candidate will have:

- previous experience as a facilities manager in commercial sector (ideally schools)
- previous experience managing hard and soft services
- technical background: mechanical or electrical qualifications (C&G or equivalent)
- good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
- BIFM member desirable
- good IT skills
- good knowledge of Concept
- great communication and and people management skills
- willingness to undertake any additional training
