About Us

In October 2023, Troopr proudly launched the UK's first marketplace of opportunities tailored for the Armed Forces Community, operating initially as an MVP. Our mission is to empower former and serving military people and their families by facilitating access to diverse opportunities, spanning work, housing, finance, health, and community engagement. This initiative is complemented by the UK's first directory of Forces-friendly organisations, currently hosting 10,000+ entities. As a social enterprise, Troopr operates on a model that is free for the Armed Forces community and sustained through freemium services for organisations, including premium profiles, premium opportunities, and content partnerships.

Role Overview:

Are you an energetic and organised self-starter with excellent relationship management skills and a good understanding of the UK Armed Forces?

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to play a key role in launching Troopr to the Armed Forces community. In this part-time position, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships with Service charities, regimental associations, and organisations supporting the Armed Forces community across the UK.

Your primary objective will be to cultivate long-lasting relationships with external organisations, enabling them to leverage Troopr's platform to support their audience and to share our forces-friendly organisations, opportunities and content with their audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new partnership leads.

  • Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements and contracts.

  • Coordinate with client campaigns to promote opportunities to relevant partners.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to effectively communicate and promote partnerships and their opportunities.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with partners, ensuring both parties meet their expectations.

  • Analyse partnership performance data and report key metrics to stakeholders.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and market changes to identify new partnership opportunities.

Key requirements:

  • Strong self-starter with excellent initiative and problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with the ability to work remotely and closely with other team members.

  • Exceptional account and relationship management skills.

  • Focus on delivery and results, with the capability to manage commitments.

  • Adaptability, proactive value addition, and responsiveness to change.

  • Effective organisational skills.

  • Good understanding of the Armed Forces community (ideally a veteran, military spouse, or Reservist).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

If you are passionate about Troopr’s mission, are part of the military community and an organised relationship builder, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.

Join us in our mission to support the UK Armed Forces community and become an integral part of Troopr's growth and success.
