It offers a dedicated space for Forces-friendly organisations to not only demonstrate their support for the Armed Forces community but also to showcase their individual opportunities, whether it's job listings, discounts, services, grants, advice, clubs, and beyond.

This is done through our marketplace of opportunities, directory of Forces-friendly organisations and accompanying content libraries. We offer a blog filled with advice tailored to the Armed Forces community, aiding them in navigating this landscape, as well as a blog dedicated to sharing best practices for organisations looking to better support the Armed Forces community.

The Role

We are seeking an organised and creative Part-time Content Manager and Creator to join our close-knit team. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing our content strategy across our 2x online content libraries; blog for the Armed Forces community, repository of best practice for Forces-friendly organisations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Alongside our founder, Hatty, develop our content strategy for both content libraries to align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Create engaging and compelling blog content for both content libraries.

  • Collaborate with other content writers, video editors, team members, designers, marketers, and subject matter experts, to develop content that resonates with our target audience.

  • Manage and update content in our CMS to ensure accuracy and relevance.

  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of content using analytics tools and make adjustments as needed to improve engagement and reach.

  • Work with our SEO experts to implement strategies to optimise content for search engines.

  • Ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content management, preferably in a similar role.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills and thrives on implementing structured processes.

  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and other digital tools.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and practices is a plus.

  • A passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences.

  • Knowledge of the Armed Forces community is hihgly desirable.
