Seeking a challenging Design Co-ordination role in Devon?
Our client is one of the UK’s leaders in construction who are now recruiting for a driven and experienced Design Co-ordinator to join their expanding and dynamic team in Devon.

This company boasts offices throughout the country and an envious project portfolio of landmark and innovative schemes across a diverse range of sectors including education, health, leisure, retail and student accommodation to name a few.

Working within a highly experienced and professional team and a fundamental part of the project team on a range of stunning developments, you will be responsible for:

• Design Co-ordination on various education schemes from enquiry to successful delivery

•  Developing the design programme to meet the agreed whole life programme. You will be required to drive the design, produce and review associated design documentation ensuring the smooth flow of information between all parties.

• Managing the appointment of consultants and then co-ordinating the project team and consultants, you'll establish key milestones and maintain accurate audit trails.

• Carry out risk analyses and resolve issues quickly and efficiently to the client’s agreement and approval.

Candidates should display a solid career history in a Design Co-ordination role within a main contracting environment and will need strong construction knowledge and technical understanding, excellent communication and organisational skills along with previous experience of working in project teams.

In addition to having sound design package software experience, and a degree or equivalent level qualification ideally in Construction or Project Management, it is anticipated you'll have, or be working towards MCIOB status.
