Customer Service Engineer

Pertemps Didcot are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Engineer based in Abingdon

The successful Customer Service Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Repairing, maintaining and servicing plant and equipment to stipulated company and current legislative standards
  • Carrying out inspection programmes on equipment and report as required
  • Develop interface with local maintenance staff and provide assisted maintenance to level of own expertise, as appropriate
  • Collect management information arising from maintenance and transaction activity, as required
  • Undertake delivery, collection and exchange of equipment and transactions, including inspections, for handover/handback of equipment as required
The Customer Service Engineer will have:
  • Experience in the diagnosis of plant failure
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety, LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Articulate, professional and good communication skills
  • Experience in construction related plant maintenance
  • City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in mechanical engineering
  • Computer literacy
 The working hours are Monday to Friday 0700 to 1900, with a competitive salary and package.
