Job Description

Network Healthcare are working with Local Authorities who require Crisis Intervention Support Workers to work with families and foster placements in times of crisis. The role will involve working closely with local authorities, social workers, foster agencies and the court systems.
As an experienced crisis intervention support worker you will be familiar with duties such as;

- Providing a specialised support system for young people within the care system.
- Providing emotion support to families, foster carers as well as young people in your care
- Liaising with social workers and other authorities
- Identifying and helping to develop and achieve personal goals with each young person
- Compiling reports and risk assessments for social workers and local authorities
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with young people, carers and families

Please note this is not a full time permanent role. All bookings are on ad hoc basis as required by the local authorities.

You must have;

- Experience within a similar role
- Minimum 2 years mental health experience
- Driving licence (preferable)
- MAPA trained (desirable)
