Job Description

A reputable organisation is currently recruiting a Credit Controller for a 12 month fixed term contract. The successful Credit Controller will be working in an effective team; ensuring collections are made in a timely manner. This is a varied role and a great opportunity to add value to the business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring that customers pay outstanding monies to terms, settlement deductions are made correctly and credit limits are not exceeded, therefore not exposing the company to any undue risk
• Ensuring that customer accounts are maintained accurately so that the current debt situation is always valid
• Ensuring that customer queries are resolved as quickly as possible in conjunction with other internal departments to ensure the claim is resolved in an efficient and timely manner
• Ensuring that debit notes deducted from payments are investigated and resolved within a timely manner

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Ability to develop strong relations with customers / staff
• Credit control experience in a Finance Team
• You will have previously worked in one of the following roles: Credit Control / Credit Controller / Sale Ledger Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk
