Chef Team Leader - Contract Catering - Bovington - £9.20p/h

 

Role Overview:

Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a chef to lead shifts for their site in Wareham. This Company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress. The successful candidate will work on a 37.5 hour contract, to include a mix of earlies 6am-2pm or lates 11:30am - 7:30pm.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food in line with required standards
  • Ensuring the food is served in the right manner
  • Ensuring the quality and portion size of the food meets the correct standards
  • Stock control
  • To comply with relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Computer literate and confident in using Microsoft packages
 

What You Need To Be a Successful:

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
  • Creativity and keen interest in food and cooking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate will be advantageous
