Chef Manager needed for a Primary School

Ewell/Epsom, Surrey

£11.50 per hour

Term Time Only/Monday to Friday hours

Chef with leadership experience needed for a primary school in the Ewell area, working for a fantastic contract catering company. This site caters for 150 students, working 2 days in Epsom and 3 days at the site down the road in Ewell. It is a Chef Manager role, however a strong chef de partie who knows how to lead a small team could be suitable as they do offer management training.

Key information on the Chef Manager Job:
  • DBS dependent – will be done by the contract catering company
  • Permanent contract
  • 40 hours per week roughly
  • 38 weeks per year

Key Responsibilities for the Chef will include:
  • Leading a small team
  • Working in 2 sites
  • Having  a passion or cooking healthy meals
  • To maintain all hygiene and safety standards with particular emphasis on health and hygiene.
Key Requirements for the Chef:
  • You must worked in the kitchen and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Some leadership/management experience
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to motivate a team
  • A friendly person with good communication and delegation skills
