£8.70 per hour
40 hours a week - Full time - every other weekend working
10 - 16 hours a week - Part Time - weekend hours
We are looking for Catering Assistants to join my client based in Oundle in their extremely busy kitchens, across the business they have 10 kitchens and produce a range of fresh seasonal dishes. As well as the day to day meals there will also be special occasions to cater for such as Black Tie events, Open days etc
This role is very much a support position to the Chefs, helping to prepare food, ensuring the kitchen hygiene standards are maintained along with serving food. You will also be asked to look into the stock and control of portions whist being aware to food allergies and adhering to food standard policies.
To be considered for this role you will need to have a positive attitude with strong communication skills. Be able to follow instructions and have an interest in the catering business, we are looking for candidates who have worked in a kitchen before and understand that you have to stand for long periods and move heavy stock at times.
