I am looking for a Business Development Executive to join a risk management company, in Tewkesbury.

We are looking for candidate with the right attributes to build their way in to the risk management market.

Previous experience is not required but an ability to build rapport and business relationships is vital for the role.

The successful candidate will be required to build on and grow a base of cliental.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
o Develop relationships with existing referrers within current partners to maintain and improve referral rates.
o Build relationships with consultants and compliance personnel not known to the company to find new referrers.
o Attending meetings with partners.
o Advise on any initiatives that may generate further sales over and above those targeted.
o Prospecting recruitment companies to understand insurance requirements and introduce the company to new and existing referrers
o Once won, successfully account manage in order to further develop the relationship to generate consistent levels of referral business.
o Updating the CRM (Salesforce) with new prospects and contacts, calls, meetings, emails etc.
o Attending meetings with potential new clients.
o Offer insurance discounts and incentives to potential referrers.
o Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
o Contribute to teams monthly and quarterly objectives.
o Discuss and improve conversion rates with line manager.
o Attend relevant industry networking and social events to further expand network of contacts.
o Run training sessions for consultants and compliance teams on the need for contractor insurance and the company's services.
o Keep up to date with all developments within the recruitment services industry, compliance and general contractor insurance matters as it relates to the operating processes of the company.

Requirements to become the Business Development Executive:
o To have the ability to build rapport for existing and potential company stakeholders.
o Be able to communicate excellently over the phone and in person
o Have a strong demeanour with the ability to sell and grow business
o Have a driving licence and vehicle
o No previous sales or business development experience is needed but a desire to move in to this area is essential
