- To ensure patient details are registered onto the electronic patient record system, CIS, when referred to the service in a timely manner
- To ensure phone calls, correspondence and emails to the service are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner and forwarded to relevant staff member as appropriate
- Liaise with patients to remind them of clinic appointments as per locality guidance
- To organise and minute internal meetings appropriate to the service and produce typed min
Proven experience in office systems, with advanced use of Microsoft Office, ie MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Able to effectively prioritise own work loads. Competent with CIS patient management system Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with a wide range of people from different backgrounds at all levels of seniority. Ability to record accurate minutes of meetings and present to a high standard. Proven standard of word processing skills, with a high standard of presentation and accuracy. The ability to maintain a high level of performance and meeting of deadlines even when faced with conflicting priorities of others. The ability to prioritise and balance a range of competing tasks to deliver to agreed timescales. Able to be flexible and responsive in providing a service that meets the needs of the Directorate.
