The role and responsibilities
- Alongside the ER cases you will be supporting with project work, MI stats and change management etc.
-Advise Directors and Managers on Human Resource policy, procedures and practices ensuring the advice provided complies with employment legislation and meets the operational requirements.
-Provide specialist and risk based advice on the implementation of grievance, disciplinary, capability and performance procedures to ensure a fair, consistent, equitable and speedy resolution.
-Support Directors and Managers as appropriate, in hearings (Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance and Absence Management). Empowering managers to proactively manage the throughput and quality of employment related casework ensuring that the appropriate timeframes are met in accordance with the appropriate policy.
-Advise and assist line managers in implementing the Group Absence Management Policy to ensure that attendance is maximised, whilst actively contributing to the development of strategies to minimise absence within the organisation.
-Responsibility for leading on projects including updating policies following legislative changes; this will include undertaking relevant research.
-Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and changing working practices and implement required changes to minimise risk and promote good employment practice.
To be considered for this role you must have experience of working within HR previously, HR Advisor level
-Experience of advising managers on policy's and procedures
-Project work experience
-ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
