Our client is a dynamic and extremely sociable tech firm with stunning offices in the West end. They are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking graduate to join their Finance Team as an Accounts Assistant. You will learn a wide variety of accounting skills on-the-job, whilst studying towards a funded three year ACCA qualification to qualify as an Accountant. This role will offer early responsibility and have a variety of duties.
Some of the tasks you will do:
- Sales Ledger: preparing invoices based on input data from other teams
- Purchase ledger: posting invoices and preparing payment runs
- Resolving customer and supplier invoice queries
- Assisting with preparing the month end accounts
- Assisting with annual processes such as budgets and year-end audit
- Assisting with general office and administrative duties as necessary

Essential attributes:
- You have graduated (or are graduating) with a STEM Bachelor's degree, having achieved at least 2:1 (or an equivalent)
- You enjoy Maths and have achieved an A or higher at A-levels (or an equivalent)
- You are prepared to commit to a three year ACCA study programme, balancing full time work and study
- You are confident using technology, such as MS Office and Confluence, and are keen to learn
