Pertemps Education are working alongside an Infants school in Romford to find an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to start in September 2019. A Year 1 Class Teacher is required on full-time basis initially for the Autumn Term to cover maternity leave, however this is expected to last for the whole academic year 2019/2020 and potentially has an option of temp to perm.
The school is continues to be graded “Good” in their most recent Ofsted inspection. Teaching staff share high expectations in the pursuit of preparing ‘all children to become independent lifelong learners’ providing positive attitudes to learning and support each other to achieve this. Pupils in Year 1 achieve above the national average in the phonics screening check and have put strategies in place to support pupils in the classroom and in additional sessions to consistently achieve high quality results.
The school are looking for:
- A Qualified Teacher holding QTS (or equivalent)
- Someone who has up to date curriculum knowledge in either KS1
- Someone who can model and disseminate high quality teaching practice
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Someone who will contribute to the wider life at the school
- Teaching related references to cover the last 2 years

Pertemps Education will give you £250 for referring a member of staff to us. You will be paid once the member of staff has completed their first 10 days of employment.
