Wedding Events Sous Chef - £27k per annum - Whitchurch - Evenings Off


Role Overview:


A rapidly growing, dynamic company NEEDS YOU a strong Sous Chef to join a fantastic kitchen team.  Providing the finest quality, modern British food to high-end wedding clients at beautiful, privately-owned estates and venues around the UK and using the best local and seasonal ingredients to produce the highest standards possible.

You will work 5/7 days, all straight shifts with the flexibility to create a work-life balance around the events/weddings.

Due to the location a driving licence and own car is ESSENTIAL.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:


As an experienced Sous Chef you will be assisting the Head Chef with the full running of the kitchen and Events off-site. Preparing, cooking and presenting food in line with the required standards and ensuring the food is prepped and served in the right manner. The importance of maintaining the quality and good reputation standards along with maintaining the stock levels and compliance with all relevant health and safety guidelines.


What You Need To Be a Successful:


The ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment showing continuous creativity and keen interest in food and cooking. Have strong communication skills and lead by example for all the junior team members to look up to. To have completed the catering qualifications and completed the health & hygiene certificates will give an advantage however the right on the job past experience may also be looked at.
