The difference our new Weapons Engineer Instructor will make

As a Weapons Engineer Instructor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll act as a mentor and instructor for Royal Saudi Naval Forces students within the Hunter Project based primarily at HMS Collingwood.

Day to day, you'll design, develop and prepare Weapons Engineer trade training modules for Royal Saudi Naval Forces students including Weapons and Sensors Specialisations. You'll instruct Officers and Ratings of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces on Sandown/Al Jawf Class ship equipment & systems, deliver courses on Weapons Engineer related Sandown/Al Jawf Class equipment and prepare instructional specifications and lesson plans.

You'll develop a good understanding of the whole ship environment of the Sandown/Al Jawf Class with particular emphasis on safe methods of operating all weapon engineering systems & equipment. You'll support/mentor students on UK and foreign manufacturers courses in support of training as and when required.

Essential experience
Experienced in instructional techniques to Level 3 or above
Technical appreciation of naval training and the naval training environment
Experience in Sandown/Al Jawf (Class of Ship) Class Weapons Engineer equipment and procedures
MS Office literate to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
You must hold or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance
