Job Description

Fork Lift Operative Marsh Barton - Exeter

This role is for our Client based just outside of Exeter and is for an ongoing temporary position which will entail full time hours working on a flexible working pattern dependant on the client's needs. In return the successful candidate shall receive £9.25.

Mission & role of the function
Ability to meet production targets in a safe manner, adhering to Health and Safety.

Key accountabilities
Driving fork lift trucks.
Taking stock to the finished stock yard area.
Loading Lorries.
Helping with stock
Ability to work as part of a team.
Adhere to all health and safety requirements.

Job Requirements
To comply with all aspects of the Compliance Policy
To ensure that all the business/operations are performed in accordance with instructions and procedures and in such a way so as to prevent any fraudulent activities taking place
To comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to observe the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and other relevant legislation
To update all areas of knowledge as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required
to comply will all aspects of the HR Policies and Procedures of the Company

Education/Qualification
Hold a current fork lift certificate (counterbalance certificate).
Demonstrate experience in the building products industry.
Full clean driving license
